One of our clients is looking for a Engineering Manager in Thailand for a permanent position.
Your Responsibilities:
- To manage and coordinate all functions necessary in producing shop drawings and fabrication lists using a vast group of in house detailers as well as a pool of subcontractors
- To ensure the drafting is carried out within the schedule and budget set for each project
- To control hiring terminations and discipline of all drawing office personnel, and make recommendation regarding staffing levels, salary adjustments and promotions to the Vice President of Operations
- To recommend to the Vice President of Operations suitable sub-contract drafting and ensure that their work is to the required standard and carried out within schedule
- To develop the knowledge and skills of the drawing office personnel to increase the efficiency of the department
- To follow to instruction and assignment from Vice President of Operations
- Reports to Vice President Operations

Anforderungen :
Your Qualification:
- Bachelor"s Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 12 years experience in drafting steelwork such as structural steel, steel ductworks, steel non pressure steel work for HRSG, stacks
- Minimum 5 years experience in supervisory position in steel fabrication drawing office.
- Sound knowledge of detailing standards as per American and European standards
- Able to motivate, lead and organize a group of approx. 30 detailers
- Good command in English, both speaking and writing
- Knowledge of steel detailing software such as AutoCad, Tekla (X-Steel), Strucad, others
